This counter is designed to tally normal visits to this home page, not simply every hit or refresh of the page. That is, the counter only adds one count per visitor, per hour. Multiple hits by the same visitor within the same hour are not counted. This will give a more realistic total of how many different times people have actually visited Karen's web site.

(Weather Note)
Note that these forecasts are obtained from weather.com for the town nearest to Karen's current position. In mountainous areas, these towns are usually at considerably lower elevation than the trail. This means the weather that Karen experiences on the mountian tops could be drastically different than the forecast shown here. Check the Trail Log for Karen's reports of actual weather conditions she has encountered.
