Chenoa’s Visit with Karen on Easter Weekend
April 9-11, 2004
Rob “Pez” is back on the trail
again (alone). Pez began the
trail on the same day as
Karen. (See Trail Log 3-3-04)
Chenoa made sure that Karen’s
adventure did not interrupt their
traditional Easter egg coloring.
Weeks of isolation on the
trail tends to make one
easily amused.
They thought about hiding one
egg in each state... but, that
would mean carrying them.
Dustin, Chenoa, and Karen
Little Scarf loves Mama Scarf
very much.
Nails, Chenoa, Dustin, and
Scarf... on top of the world
... literally!
Chenoa and Dustin drove
a long way to make this
weekend special for Karen.
Seen those zoo pictures
where the mama monkey is
picking fleas off the baby
monkey’s head? Well....
Karen has a new best friend
and a great daughter... who
could ask for more?
See any beef jerky in
that pile?
The reason for
Easter didn’t get
lost in the eggs.
Karen or Chenoa will have to
explain this one to us sometime.
Just because you go back to
nature for a 2000 mile hike
doesn’t mean you get out of
doing laundry!
Hmm.... Flowers.... From
Chenoa maybe?
Time to say goodbye after a
great weekend visit...
... and it’s back on the trail.
(I hope they’re heading north.)
